Galena Lions Club has once more organized a series of six routes through scenic Kent County Maryland.

The six routes were prepared by experienced active cyclists and are based upon many suggestions from riders in our previous events. Distances range from 15 miles, our Family Ride, to a challenging  100 miles. All of the routes are on paved roadways over flat to rolling terrain. They were planned to provide safe travel through the heartland of Kent County. Along the way you will have the chance to view rural country life, country villages with historic homes, modern farms and great country stores. The 100 mile route provides scenic views of the Chesapeake Bay, the Chester and the Sassafras Rivers. There are convenient rest stops providing water, Gatorade, light-high energy snacks, rest rooms or porta potties and friendly members of the Galena Lions Club.  The routes will be continuously patrolled by SAG wagons to provide assistance, if needed. Join us for a grand tour of the smallest and most scenic county on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Visit the Routes Page for specific information about the varied ride opportunities available and visit the About Page to learn more about the Galena Lions Programs and how riders donations are put to good use in the community. Ride registration starts and ends at Galena Elementary School. Visit the Location page for directions to the school.

Note: This is a Show-And-Go Event. So check in at Registration and start your ride when you are ready to go. Be sure to return to Registration and check back in before 5:00 PM

Online registration closes at Midnight August 10.
